Birmingham Women’s Choir

EVERYDAY WOMEN WITH EVERYDAY VOICES

In 2008 I came up with creating the Birmingham Women’s Choir a place for everyday women with everyday voices.

I wanted to offer the opportunity for ladies to find a sense of confidence building through finding their voices.  I wanted to help others find a sense of emotional release through verbal expression and so put the wheels in motion to create the first Birmingham Women’s Choir.

Practising and rehearsing, mainly out of Aston University this mini choir offered a space for ladies to meet with others as well as learn how to use their voices so they could get up at the next karaoke party and sound “good”

From appearances on charity singles to performing at the first Armed Forces Day held in Centenary Square, the choir enjoyed performances that included wedding performances and supporting Race For Life @raceforlife #raceforlife
